Our Process

We like to leave our customers with no surprises so here is our roof cleaning process in detail so you know what to expect when you hire Cutting Edge:

Step 1: Initial Power Wash

Using a pressure washer, we wash your roof’s surface and use water to spray off visible dirt and debris including leaves, dead insects, and twigs. We work from the ridge going down to the gutter and let the roof dry completely.

Step 2: Chemical Treatment

Next, we set our pressure washer to a lower psi and an eco-friendly spray cleaning solution on dry roof. This lets the chemical seep into the pores of the tiles. Let stand for few minutes or until dry to let the chemical work.

Step 3: Rinse Off

Depending on the chemical used and the extent of the moss build up and stains to be removed, the rinse off could be the most strenuous step in cleaning tile roofs. Using strong pressure, we aim at hard to remove dirt and stains.

Step 4: Clean the Gutters

After thoroughly rinsing off the roof, we now turn our efforts into cleaning the gutters. Remove dirt and debris collected and check for damages.
